Health Classes being taught by clinic staff under an acacia treeJust this month our clinic has launched Dental and Optometry Services. We are in the process of doing some community outreach for both of these departments. We are currently going on the road and visiting local primary and secondary schools. At each visit we let the children and teachers know about the services that are now available at the clinic. Then Jeremiah does a dental presentation and Kemboi gives a presentation on eyes and eye-care.

At the end of the presentation Jeremiah questioned the children about main points from the talk. This young man answered enough questions correctly to earn a toothbrush and toothpaste!

I've been reading your blog for quite a while. We met back in 2006, when you were in Kipkaren and my husband and I were on a team from Christian Assembly there visiting Julie. I *love* reading about your adventures with our brothers and sisters and pray for you all often. I'm a public school teacher and appreciate so much the education you are doing in the local schools in your community. Is there any chance we could send you a box of toothbrushes and toothpaste for future outings? What a fun way to get my kids involved with giving to students in another part of the world!
